Causes of cracks
Cracking is usually under the repeated rolling of heavy-duty vehicles, due to insufficient overall strength of the pavement, wet base, poor stability and other reasons, resulting in excessive deformation and deflection, so that the flexibility of the asphalt pavement is not enough and due to the fatigue of the pavement material. A kind of crack formed, so this kind of crack is sometimes called fatigue crack.
Crack prevention
(1) Use high-quality asphalt with high low-temperature deformation ability, and control the mixing quality of asphalt mixture as required.
(2) Before paving the asphalt surface layer, carefully check the construction quality of the lower bearing layer, remove debris such as mud and ash in time, deal with the weak layer, ensure the stability of the lower bearing layer, and spray the oil through the layer, if necessary, it can be sprinkled as required Stone chips or sand to ensure interlayer bonding.
(3) Each layer of asphalt should meet the requirements of the minimum construction thickness, ensure a good connection between the upper and lower sides, and take corresponding measures in design, construction and maintenance to timely remove the accumulated water in the structural layer after rain.
