I believe everyone should be familiar with asphalt. Asphalt is generally used to pave roads or plug leaks. If we accidentally touch it, how can the asphalt be cleaned?
1. If the clothes or skin are stained with asphalt, you can use a cloth to wipe it with gasoline on the place stained with asphalt. This is a common method. Of course, after wiping off, you must wash it with washing powder.
2. If the clothes are stained with asphalt, if the time is not long, wash them with turpentine. If it has solidified, first soak it with a mixture of ether and turpentine (1:1) for about 10 minutes. After the stain becomes soft, scrub it with gasoline or benzene, and finally rinse it with water.
3. If it is agglomerated, use a knife to gently scrape off the stained asphalt, and then soak it in carbon tetrachloride water for a while, which is usually sold in pharmacies. Put it in hot water and rub it for washing.
4. Soak with 10-20% ammonia water or 2% borax solution, and wash after dissolving.
